I don’t have the fanciest set-up for photos. It’s really the guest room in our house thanks to the fact that it has the most natural light in the house and a lack of furniture. Sorry guests. So basically every Wednesday morning I spend about thirty minutes running back and forth from the tripod taking photos of myself. It’s awkward, I have no idea where to put my hands and I wonder if the neighbors can see me moving back and forth in the window. Not that I really care much about what the neighbors think that much, considering the fact that I often walk Nola in my striped pajama pants, Uggs and messy hair in the morning. No shame. I take photos of an outfit every week because I love working on my style. I love figuring out how to mix and match what I already own and to share, once a week, an outfit that I love. So I work with what I have, because by the time the husband gets home it’s way too dark to take photos anywhere outside. So there’s no trying for perfection here. It’s just me. In the guest room. Phone cords, tilted painting and all. I should probably learn to use my tripod a little more efficiently. There’s always next week.

Holly, thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoy it every week. I’m not sure if people like outfit posts or not, but I love them and I love posting about my style. I’m so glad to hear you are loving it as well! I can’t afford to spend a ton on clothes, if they are on sale for a good price I can do it! I shop at really affordable stores and if I wander into my pricier favorites, I go straight for the sales rack and they have to have a really good sale for me to budge. Outlet stores are some of my favorites to find good deals! That J. Crew button up was there with a great discount. :) Thank you for your sweet comment!
I always enjoy outfit posts. I wish I devoted more time to trying on outfits on the weekends so I had some go to looks prepped for the week or for fun events.

Thank you so much, Jackie! Ha, yep that’s how I do it now. Maybe in the summer I will be able to convince the husband to take my photos when the day is longer but for now, this works just fine. ;)

You are so cute! I love your outfit, it is something I would totally wear! I think your photos look just fine. Sometimes I do the whole tripod thing too and it’s kinda funny running back and forth and then posing. Always makes me laugh at myself :)

I am with the others – you wear things I could see myself wearing. My sense of style is a little on the boring side, though: jeans, long-sleeved tops, skirts, leggings, etc. I love how you jazz up your outfits!
