I know my name isn’t Alice but there’s a great story behind the name, so be sure to hop over to my website to visit and read the whole story. lil’ alice is been nothing less than a blessing. I wanted to learn how to sew, I would look at things and think, that looks so easy. Having that desire to learn and social media such as Facebook is really how lil’ alice got started in March of 2010. I simply made an apron, posted it on Facebook and friends chimed in and said, “how much?”
After a hand full of orders, I wanted to label my products with a tag and a unique name. So I rattled my brain for something catchy & fun that was affiliated with me but didn’t scream my name either. That was when lil’ alice™ was born. In the Fall of 2011, I received my husbands blessing to take lil’ alice from a hobby to a business. This was truly an answer to many prayers that were prayed in my little sewing studio as I would stitch away on orders. By January 2012, lil’ alice™ became a business!
Fun fact about me: I can not read a pattern. I own a pattern for my aprons, but I don’t read the step by step instructions. I have a notebook with all my dimensions for my items. I see things in shape & I have to visualize in my head how to put them together.
