I’m grateful…
…that my friend’s father is doing SO MUCH BETTER and that yesterday was a GOOD day! that has to be number one, easy.
…for the prayers that you prayed for my friend and her family. thank you.
…that connections are being made for me work-wise. i feel like God is leading me to the exact right job for me and protecting me from the wrong ones. i need that protection.
…for my crazy dogs who are playing rough underneath my legs at this very moment and leave never a dull moment in their wake.
…for my family and my husband. they’re my people and i’m thankful for them and what they teach me about life and about myself.
…for support from my loved ones that propel my dreams into realities. that’s a beautiful gift that i hope to use wisely.
…for great friends, but you already knew that.
…for my passions that leave my head in the clouds most days, but also push me to work hard. it makes it so much sweeter when they start to come true.
…for fridays, saturdays and sundays.

Such a great post… Have you ever read “One Thousand Gifts” by Ann Voskamp? We are so much more able to receive God’s blessings when we give thanks :)

I haven’t, but I’ve heard such great things! My pastor has said before that we should always begin praying with our thanksgiving. It has stuck with me! I’ve also heard the thought “what if we woke up tomorrow with only the things we thanked God for today.” A powerful thought!
